Nyla Williams

Nyla Williams is a young professional with a degree in Psychology and Education from Robert Morris University. She is a mental health advocate and has a passion for topics such as trauma related disorders and anxiety disorders. Throughout her time as a student at Robert Morris she completed a 6-week internship in South Africa, served as a peer mentor, and has contributed to over five different organizations including her sorority Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated. Currently, she is working fulltime as an ABA Therapist in Pittsburgh, PA. In this position she executes Applied Behavior Analysis techniques, in order to target specific behaviors in children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Her career aspirations include obtaining a Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology, in order to pursue a career as a licensed professional counselor.
