To me, Black Mental Wellness means nourishing your mind so that every part of your life is healthy and balanced.
How do you promote change and well-being in the Black community?
I promote change and well-being in the Black community through living by example. Rather than just telling others what to do I commit to showing them how to do it, also.

I have been professionally trained and certified as a life coach.
How can we encourage more people to seek mental health treatment?
Educating the young and the old. Removing the negative stigma that has been associated with Mental Health
What are your recommendations for ending stigma in the Black community?
We need to focus on increasing education about mental wellness in the Black community.
How do you make time for your own wellness and self-care?
I make sure time is carved out in my schedule. And if it’s an emergency, I drop everything and take a breather. It’s not optional in my life. It’s a necessity
