2024 Conference Details
The 2024 Black Mental Wellness Conference, themed Disrupting Spaces, will focus on challenging and reshaping the traditional mental health system. This year’s conference will center on addressing the specific mental health and wellness needs of the Black community, through thought-provoking discussions, innovative strategies, and community-focused solutions.This conference is a must-attend for anyone invested in mental health advocacy, equity, and the well-being of Black communities.
Black Mental Wellness, Corp. is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. 6.5 continuing education credits for psychologists are available for registrants who attend the live conference. Black Mental Wellness, Corp. maintains responsibility for this conference and its content. 2024 Conference Sessions
Attendees will hear from a diverse range of speakers who are dedicated to dismantling outdated approaches to addressing mental health needs, and fostering environments that promote culturally affirming care.
Conference sessions will explore how to disrupt systemic barriers, amplify the voices of Black individuals in mental health and wellness spaces, and promote healing through a lens that acknowledges historical and cultural contexts.
